Food alliances: early lessons from Highland Good Food

Transition Black Isle & Pebble Trust have initiated an innovative Food Conversation, aiming to support and inspire local people to come together to create a local food system that is better for the planet, better for people and better for producers.

Volunteering Matters is offering easy to access environmental grants to help local communities tackle climate change and biodiversity loss. Funded by NatureScot, these grants support volunteers of all ages, backgrounds and abilities in practical outdoor activities.

The Scottish Government has made £500,000 available in the form of a Hate Crime Security Fund for the provision of security measures and improvements aimed at reducing the vulnerability of places of worship in Scotland to hate crime.
