Impact Funding Partners are to manage the Big Climate Conversation Community Fund (BCCCF) on behalf of the Scottish Government.

The Scottish Government is currently holding The Big Climate Conversation, engaging with individuals, the private and public sectors about the role that everyone needs to play in ending Scotland’s contribution to climate change.

To ensure that the widest range of views from across Scotland are able to contribute, Impact Funding Partners are encouraging communities to hold their own workshops and contribute to the conversation.  The fund will help support community groups who otherwise would not be able to cover the expense of hosting a workshop.

The fund will support workshops held before the 31st October 2019 which support the aims of The Big Climate Conversation to engage all sectors of society on Scotland’s response to the global climate emergency.

Download the Scottish Government ‘How to Guide’ from the link below which will give you step by step guidance on how to run your workshop, including what questions to discuss. There are opportunities for you to be flexible with the format and how long each discussion lasts. You can also feedback on other areas relevant to The Big Climate Conversation.  Please read the ‘How to Guide’ and frequently asked questions before applying.
