As a leader in the Green Tech industry, Glennon Brothers is a growing, dynamic and innovative organisation with ambitious growth plans. One of its key business units to realising this growth potential is Alexander Timber Design (ATD). ATD manufactures timber frame homes and engineered roof trusses for the housebuilding sector.

Due to continuous growth, Alexander Timber Design is now looking to appoint a General Manager to manage and co-ordinate the activities of the timber frame business through the achievement production metrics including throughput, changeover times, minimising downtime and driving ongoing improvement.

Enterprise Facilitator -- The Bridge

  • 3-month post (can be freelance)
  • £24,736 (35 hours per week)

Funded until 29 Feb 2020 through the European Programme LEADER this post will assist the development of Borders communities.

The post-holder will:

  • provide developmental support service to new and existing development trusts across the Scottish Borders
  • organise four networking events
  • support the development of a learning network 

Project development, business planning and the development of social/community enterprise activities are the main skills we are seeking for this post, with experience of working with geographical communities.

The Bridge is a membership-based community development organisation and partner in the Borders Third Sector Interface (TSI). This post is delivered in collaboration with their TSI Partners, Berwickshire Association for Voluntary Service (Bavs).
