What does brexit mean to you?

Date:
Friday 26 October 2018 - 19:30 to 21:30
Venue:

Organiser:
Scottish Rural Action

Scottish Rural Action are holding a series of events throughout October at which your attendance and contribution would be greatly appreciated.

We need to start preparing for the impact of Brexit in our rural communities. It is important to identify what you consider to be the greatest opportunities and challenges arising from Brexit, as we enter a critical time for rural Scotland and consider the future shape of rural policy. We need your help to get this right. European Union funding currently supports a wide range of activity in rural Scotland which needs to continue after Brexit – tourism, activities for young people, local community and voluntary organisations and business, infrastructure, employment and training opportunities.

These events form a series of discussion groups across Scotland in the next few months which will influence Scottish Government policy and feed into a shared position statement that Scottish Rural Action will be using to advocate for rural communities, alongside other grassroots rural organisations across the UK. Scottish Rural Action are holding this event across multiple dates and locations, see their website for more information.

In order that the appropriate arrangements can be made, SRA ask you to please register to attend here by contacting martin@sra.scot
This event is open to the public and you would be welcome to share this opportunity with friends and colleagues.
