An ambitious 30-year landscape-scale rewilding initiative to link up a majestic sweep of the Scottish Highlands has been launched.
The Affric Highlands initiative follows three years of consultation between Rewilding Europe, Trees for Life, and other local partners and stakeholders.
Connecting Scotland is a Scottish Government programme set up to tackle digital exclusion during the coronavirus crisis.
Phase three is now underway and aims to remove barriers related to digital exclusion for unemployed young people and adults (aged 16+).

The FCC Scottish Action Fund provides grants of between £2,000 and £40,000 to not-for-profit organisations for projects which have community and environmental benefits.
It will consider applications for a wide range of projects eligible under the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund (SLCF):

Not-for-profit community groups in rural areas can now apply for funding of up to £50,000, to trial new and innovative ways to address local challenges and benefit from local opportunities.
