Tea and Trees with Crofters

These discussion groups bring crofters together to chat about woodland creation projects along with specialists from Scottish Forestry, The Woodland Trust, Croft Woodland Project. This will be an informal networking event and a chance to make connections and chat with other crofters to share your experiences and knowledge. Join the Integrating Trees Network with a cup of tea to discuss the objectives, challenges and potential for integrating trees on crofts.

The event includes a networking Supper and is kindly hosted by Jan Dixon and Leigh Grainger.

The Scottish Government are investing around £50 million a year into a portfolio of strategic research to ensure that Scotland maintains its position at the very cutting edge of advances in agriculture, natural resources and the environment. This will continue to build an evidence base to support policy needs in the environment, natural resources and agriculture portfolio and contribute to the delivery the National Performance Framework.

European Regenerative Agriculture Community Conference

The AgriCaptureCO2 project is delighted to present the second edition of the European Regenerative Agriculture Community Conference. Set up in November 2021, the European Regenerative Agriculture Community is a space for exchange and learning among farmers, researchers, and other stakeholders interested in regenerative farming.

The deadline for responding to the consultation for a new Agriculture Bill has been extended until Monday 5th December and an additional face to face workshop announced, which will be held in Orkney.

To date we have supported at six face to face events - Inverness, Portree, Inverurie, Oban, Melrose and most recently Stirling and have a further three planned events over the next few weeks covering Dumfries, Ayr and now Orkney
