Farming Scotland Conference 2020

The seventeenth annual Farming Scotland Conference will be held on Thursday 13th February 2020 at the Carnoustie Golf Hotel.

The conference is once again sponsored and organised by EQ Chartered Accountants, Thorntons Law, Bell Ingram and RBS.

A project which aims to keep calves with their mothers for longer is among those that will share more than £340,000 of investment.

Awarded through the Knowledge Transfer and Innovation Fund (KTIF), the new funding will drive forward innovation in farming and food production and help businesses shift to a low carbon climate-resistant economy.

Rural businesses from across the country have been announced as finalists for the Scottish Rural Awards 2020.

The Scottish Rural Awards celebrate the enterprise, innovation and community spirit of those who live and work in Scotland’s countryside. Shortlists have been announced for 12 award categories including a new award for Best Countryside Digital Innovator.
