Scottish Pilgrimage Gathering 2016 - 21st October 2016
"How to harness Christian Heritage for the 21st century" followed by the SPRF AGM - Comrie Croft, Comrie, Perthshire

Starts at 10:15am with a morning walk on a section of the Three Saints Way followed in the afternoon by presentations and an open discussion.
The AGM will commence at 4:15pm.

Beating the Scourge of Bracken – Innovative Mechanical Bracken Control Demonstration

Oakland Biofuels Ltd in Association with Scottish Land & Estates will demonstrate the equipment, techniques and benefits from harvesting bracken at three demonstrations in Scotland.

Turning bracken from an increasing problem into a harvestable resource meets a number of economic, environmental and health objectives that should be of interest to all stakeholders with an interest in land management and the environment as well as land managers and farmers who have a bracken problem.

Rural Housing Fund seminar - Perth

A new fund to support affordable rural housing development has been created by the Scottish Government. This £25M grant fund is available to a range  of organisations including community trusts, landowners, and development trusts.

Growbiz business exchange and networking event

Come along to the Growbiz Xchange and Networking event to hear from Emma Cooper, of the Scottish Rural Parliament, speaking about the importance of rural enterprise and how developing the rural economy is one of the key priorities for the next Rural Parliament meeting in October.
