There will be an opportunity to sample some local flavours from producers at our ‘Tasting Tables’ during lunch and discuss how you can supply their products in your business.

This is a great “hands on” opportunity to learn how to value your own woods and to discuss ideas for making best use of your farm woodlands.

Visit log burning biomass boiler – debate logs v chips. Visit farm woodlands brought into management to supply logs for the biomass boiler.

Stirling Food Summit - Community Day

A jam-packed day of inspiration, celebration and skill-sharing around food!

If you can only make it for part of the day, please come along. The event is a chance to celebrate foodie successes, share what is important to you in regards to food,enjoy free workshops about food, and of course, eat local and delicious food!

Royal Scottish Forestry Society Conference

This late afternoon conference will explore the added profitability enjoyed by livestock enterprises using their woodland resource for shelter and timber production. The Conference will also highlightthe financial gain from planting new woodland.

Members and guests are welcome to attend any or all of the meetings, either in Stirling and/or in the Oban/Kilmelford area, irrespective of their affiliation. Non-members considering joining either the RSFS or Argyll Small Woods Co-operative are most welcome to attend. Please book in as requested.

Forth Valley and Lomond LEADER launch

Forth Valley and Lomond LEADER will be formally launching their new LEADER Programme with details on funding for rural development projects in rural Clackmannanshire, Stirling and West Dunbartonshire.  The new Programme will be launched by Bruce Crawford MSP and at the event you will hear from the Local Action Group Chair along with three inspiring projects from the last Programme and the Programme Co-ordinator.
