Do you want to help secure the future of crofting?

The Crofting Commission elections will be taking place in March 2017.

At a crofting roadshow near you you can find out more about the elections, the role of the Commission and Commissioners and the importance of making your voice heard.

The roadshow will also have short talks from different crofting organisations addressing key crofting issues, followed by a Q&A session.

Who will be there?

  • Registers of Scotland: Responsible for compiling and maintaining 17 public registers including the Crofting Register
  • Scottish Crofting Federation: The only member-led organisation dedicated to promoting crofting and is the largest association of small-scale food producers in the UK
  • SAC Consulting: Provides a broad range of advice on all aspects of rural enterprise based on a wealth of local knowledge. SAC offer crofters professional advice and assistance on livestock and cropping issues as well as the essential and all important paperwork.
