Crowdfund Scotland: Crowdfunding for Communities

Interested in expanding your crowdfunding knowledge?

The Crowdfund Scotland team are running a workshop aimed at community groups who are thinking about, or interested in, how crowdfunding could benefit them.

This online workshop will be a live, interactive webinar, hosted by a Crowdfund Scotland coach. It will focus on running a Crowdfunder project as a community group and look at what you could include, what benefits there are, and some good example rewards for community groups. We will look at some example projects previously run by local communities while exploring what makes an effective page.

During the 45 minute live session you’ll learn about:

• Laying out your page to make it appealing
• Using videos and images
• Telling your story clearly
• Building a team to help you
• Targets and stretch targets
• Typical barriers and how to overcome them
