Natural Narratives #3 – Hogscroft Hedgehog Rescue

Sessions will run on the last Friday of each month from September to March (excluding December). Our aim is to bring people together during the long, dark winter months to engage in activities and discussions focused on environmental topics.

Date and time: to

Location: Sandison Hall, St. Fillans

Organisation: Aquila Wildlife & Nature CIC

We are so pleased to welcome Alison Middleton from the Hogscroft Hedgehog Rescue to speak about the story of her charity and her experiences with hedgehog rehabilitation! Alison launched her “hog hospital” in Perthshire back in 2023 and has devoted every minute since to caring for ill or injured hedgehogs, alongside a loyal network of volunteers. Those which cannot be released are kept in her hedgehog sanctuary in Inchture known as “Leo’s Garden.” If you’d like to learn more about her work, how to make your gardens safe and welcoming for hedgehogs, or what to do if you find an injured hedgehog, then join us for a fun and educational hedgehog-themed evening!

After Alison’s presentation and the following Q&A, we will be holding a fundraising event for Hogscroft. Expect some hedgehog inspired activities to help raise funds to save more hogs!
