The Sutherland Agricultural Show began in 1951 to showcase the vitality and productivity of the largest county in the United Kingdom. Stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the North Sea, from the far north coast to the Dornoch Firth, Sutherland encompasses a wide diversity of landscapes and climatic conditions, and its industries and agriculture reflect this.
The Main Show Ring will host a variety of entertainment including The Ardross Pipe Band, the ever-popular Working Sheepdog Display, Vintage Vehicle Parades, Children’s Sports, Terrier Racing and, of course, Judging of the Champions and the Livestock Parade. In addition to events in the show ring, why not visit the funfair and the farming education tent.
As always there will be a food and crafts tent, cookery demonstrations, the funfair and live music.
There will also be a wide range of trade stands and catering outlets. The licensed bar will be open throughout the day.
Well behaved dogs are welcome on leads.
