The next online seminar of the National Rural Mental Health Forum will take place on Wednesday the 9th of November from 11am to 1pm, when they will be joined by Caitlin Murray from See Me Scotland to share key findings from The Scottish Mental Illness Stigma Study and draw attention to the persisting inequalities which it highlights.

The study shows the extent and impact of stigma and discrimination faced by people living with severe, complex and/or enduring mental illness in Scotland. It is critical in helping all of us to understand where and how stigma and discrimination happens and what changes are needed. It also helps to identify where further research is required.

This is an opportunity for you to help address stigma at its root and to leave this session with a greater awareness of the stigma experienced by people living with mental illness and to consider and discuss what more we can all do together to create meaningful and lasting change.
