Check our COVID-19 Information Hub for updates

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic the Scottish Rural Network launched an online information hub dedicated to sharing the latest official guidance, helpful resources, funding support and news relevant to Scotland's rural communities.

The hub is now up and running and collates as much information on the COVID-19 pandemic as possible in one place for people living in rural Scotland to access.

Network Manager Alan Robertson said, “We recognise that rural communities will be amongst those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, with a high proportion of self-employed people, small to medium enterprises and unique geographical challenges.

Isolation is also an issue already faced by many of Scotland’s rural communities, and our current situation will risk exacerbating that unless we take positive proactive action.

It is heartening to see how much is already happening across the country both at a community and government level to support rural Scotland during this crisis.

The SRN COVID-19 hub will host links to information most relevant to rural communities and their stakeholders in one place and signpost to areas of help and support.

It’s vitally important during this time that rural communities can easily access information on the guidance and support that is most relevant to them.”

The information hub includes links to Scottish Government’s latest official guidance, third sector support and resources for mental health and wellbeing.

A core function of the information hub also includes a dedicated online contact form, where you can send any queries, comments or requests for further information or help.
