Enhanced Peatland ACTION fund open

Scottish Natural Heritage's (SNH) Peatland ACTION project will be in receipt of a further £3 million funding for spend in 2015/16. This time, SNH will offer a rolling assessment process, with those getting their applications in early likely to get a fast turnaround and therefore more time to get their restoration projects completed.

Due to the time constraints of the financial year, they will not accept applications late in the year, and have set an application deadline of 17th August 2015.

SNH will also be running a series of demonstration events across the country to showcase some of the restoration work completed to date and will be updating their website with a list of events/dates. They have also produced a series of Technical Restoration videos which are almost complete and links will be available on their website soon.
