A new fund will support young people who have an idea to promote Scotland's amazing natural environment in 2018.

The Future Routes fund has been created by Scottish Natural Heritage, YoungScot and ReRoute as part of the Year of Young People 2018. The fund is open to individuals and groups of young people from across Scotland aged 11-26.

Your idea can be anything that connects young people to Scotland's nature from short films to theatre performances to art exhibitions, conservation projects, discussion days or nature trails.

Individuals can apply for funding between £500 and £2000. Groups can apply for funding between £1000 and £5000.

The deadline to submit your idea for consideration is 12pm on Thursday 15 February 2018.

You can find full information, including guidance on how to submit your idea, on the YoungScot website.

You can also email snh@young.scot or call 0808 801 0338.
