The Galloway Glens Landscape Partnership has launched its Autumn/Winter programme of events.

The series of events run between October and December and consider Galloway's natural heritage from both an artistic and scientific point of view. Held in various locations across the area, all the events are planned in a hybrid format so - even if you can't get to them in person - you can still take part online. Most events are free.

Coinciding with November’s COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow, these events try to get under the skin of some of our beloved species - geese, grouse and, of course, the robin - and habitats, from peatlands to woods. With a mix of science, performing arts, photography and spoken word, the events promise to be both entertaining and poignant, exploring the challenges and opportunities offered by our changing climate.
