Go Rural have launched a new venture offering guided farm tours this summer.

Tours at Balluderon Farm near Dundee will give visitors the chance to learn about life as farmers and the role they play in producing food.

They will also be able to enjoy an 'Eat the View' Ploughman’s lunch which is a rustic dining experience around a communal table in the barn on the farm or the 'Farmers’ Fly Cuppie' which includes tea or coffee, home-made Scotch pancakes, Angus butter and jam, and home-made tray bakes, also served in the barn.

If the farm tour pilot is successful Go Rural will work with other farmers to support the development of a range of Go Rural tours across the UK.

For more information visit the Go Rural website.
