DG Unlimited, an organisation that promotes and supports the creative industries across Dumfries and Galloway has just launched it’s new ‘Get Involved, Get Inspired’ fund.

Aimed at supporting a wide range of cultural and creative events and activities in local communities, the £8,000 fund can make awards of up to £500 to support events and activities that offer greater opportunities for participation in high quality arts experiences for people who would not normally get involved.

David McDonald, Arts Development Director said:

"We’re delighted to be launching new funds for the region. Offering small pots of money with a six-week turnaround, we hope to be able to assist projects that are happening now across Dumfries and Galloway."

Activities can be one-off events or a series of workshops and they can take place in any setting from care homes to arts centres from high streets to farmers’ fields as long participants Get Involved and Get Inspired!

For more information, visit the DG Unlimited website. To be eligible, projects must be completed by 31March 2018.

Completed applications must be emailed to hello@dgunlimited.com by midnight on Sunday 12 February 2017.
