A new free online platform has launched to help more people make use of smart farming technologies.

The Smart Farming Platform has been launched by the Horizon 2020 thematic network Smart AKIS.

The platform is intended for farmers, advisory services, agriculture consultants, and farming equipment providers. It includes a database of the latest technologies already available on the market or emerging from research projects. There is also a message board for discussion on the use these new technologies.

If you need guidance and advice on the smart farming technologies most suited to your needs, you can fill in a short survey that will suggest the most fitting technologies.

If you are company providing smart farming technologies or a researcher, you can feed your products and solutions into the Platform's smart farming technology database.

Visit the Smart Farming Platform to find out more.
