Do you know an innovative young person or youth-led project tackling any rural issue or challenge?

The Young People category in the Scottish Rural Parliament's Rural Innovators Awards is now open for nominations.

The Rural Innovators Award is for a project, person or organisation which is improving life in rural communities by tackling one of the Scottish Rural Parliament's key topics. Each month focusses on a different category.

The winner of each category will receive a free place to attend the Scottish Rural Parliament 2016 including accommodation and travel expenses. Projects will be given the opportunity to present their project to delegates.

The closing date for nominations for the Young People category is midnight on 30 September.

You can get more information including nomination forms on the Scottish Rural Parliament website.
