The Cairngorms National Park - Rural Development & Communities Manager, Grantown-on-Spey

Plan and manage community engagement and development, supporting communities to have an active role in the decision-making processes about how the National Park is managed; promote community capacity building and support community-led project delivery; manage sustainable economic development and community wealth building in the Cairngorms and oversee the approach to sustainable tourism.

Scottish Communities Climate Action Network – 2 posts, WFH, anywhere in Scotland

Thanks to support from the Scottish Government, SCCAN is excited to be recruiting for two new posts to support community-led action to address the climate emergency. 

  • Programme Manager – Regional Community Climate Action Networks

The Programme Manager will oversee and support local Network Coordinators who will be recruited initially for up to ten regions across Scotland; oversee the launch and development of this programme and will provide coordination and support for the regional Network Coordinators.

  • Climate for Change (C4C) Coordinator (Part-time)

The Climate for Change (C4C) Coordinator will be responsible for the detailed design, development and roll out of a Climate for Change programme in Scotland. Following a successful approach pioneered in Australia the approach works by engaging friends and neighbours in conversations about, and taking action on, the climate crisis – with people they trust.

DD8 Music – 2 PT posts, Kirriemuir

DD8 Music charity carries out a variety of music and media-based youth and community work and runs the “Bonfest” music festival.

  • Volunteer Coordinator

To support the creation of a new and exciting Volunteer Programme; to create high quality, well supported and accessible volunteering opportunities by developing a person-centered approach to volunteering.

  • Youth Development Worker

To support the provision of DD8 Music activities, to develop new opportunities and to respond to the needs and desires of the young people involved.

Project Trust - Country Coordinator, Isle of Coll

Educational/international volunteering charity seeking a co-ordinator to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a number of designated country programmes; provide guidance and support to volunteers in the run-up to and during their long term overseas placement; liaise with overseas representatives and act as the first point of contact for volunteers and their families.
