Moray LEADER vacancies

tsiMORAY, the Third Sector Interface for Moray, is currently recruiting the following posts to be located in Elgin, to deliver the LEADER programme in Moray overseen by the Moray Local Action Group.

LEADER Programme Manager

  • £31,429-£35,187 per annum
  • Responsible for managing the development and delivery of the Moray LEADER programme and Local Development Strategy (LDS), including the management of the LEADER team

LEADER Development Officer

  • £27,576-£30,037 per annum
  • Responsible for the animation and facilitation of the LEADER programme

LEADER Finance & Administration Officer

  • £21,352-£23,430 per annum
  • Responsible for the administration of the LEADER programme

All posts are full time (35 hours), initially for a two year period but with potential for extension, subject to a six months probationary period and a twelve-month role and programme review.

Volunteering & Campaigns Coordinator - Scottish Rural Action

Scottish Rural Action - organisers of the Scottish Rural Parliament - are seeking a Volunteering & Campaigns Coordinator to build their grass-roots presence and influence by engaging volunteers in our campaigns on issues prioritised by rural communities. In 2017-18 these are digital connectivity, land, business, transport and democracy and governance.

The post holder will be expected to travel with occasional overnight stays therefore some flexibility will be needed.

This post is partially funded by the Voluntary Action Fund.

Maybole 500 - Project Manager (contract)

Maybole Community Council has secured funding from Ayrshire LEADER, Heritage Lottery, Ayrshire Youth Arts Network and North Carrick Community Benefit Fund to deliver a new and exciting project that will mark the 500th anniversary of Maybole receiving its Burgh of Barony status in 1516. The 'Ancient Capital of Carrick' will stage ‘Maybole 500’ between January 2017 and August 2017 and is the starting point in engaging the town, its community and reverse the decline often found in small rural towns through the development of heritage and culture as the centrepiece for the rebranding of Maybole and its future marketing activity.

Reporting to the Maybole 500 Executive Committee, the Project Manager will coordinate and manage the delivery of a series of events and activities associated with ‘Maybole 500 – Using Heritage to Relaunch the Ancient Capital of Carrick’.

The fee will be up to a maximum of £20,000 (inclusive of VAT, where applicable), plus reasonable and pre-agreed travel expenses.
