Health Walks Coordinator - NHS Grampian

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Location: Aberdeenshire H&SCP, based at Gordon House in Inverurie
  • Contract: Temporary for a fixed term of 11 months

NHS Grampian (Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership) with funding from Paths for All are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and approachable individual to coordinate, develop and sustain the health walk programme across Aberdeenshire, through supporting existing projects and working in partnership to develop new health walk groups. Short health walks are often a first step in helping to engage inactive adults in regular, safe and fun physical activity.

A current driving licence and/or access to a car is essential for this post, and some working outwith normal working hours will be required from time to time.

RSABI Regional Development Officer (North)

  • Salary: £24,000 pro-rata for 3 days per week
  • Location: based from home

Following a reorganisation within our Development team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an additional dedicated part-time (three days per week) Development Officer to cover the North of Scotland for RSABI, Scotland’s charity helping people who have depended on the land. Key areas of operation are likely to be Aberdeenshire, Morayshire and Inverness shire. A full current driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Administrative Officer - Scottish Government

The Scottish Government are currently seeking applications for three Administrative Officers within the Scottish Government Rural Payments and Inspections Directorate (SGRPID) based in Tweedbank, Galashiels.

The Galashiels Area Office is part of the network of 16 local Area Offices that perform a key role in the work of the Scottish Government Rural Payments and Inspections Directorate (RPID). They are responsible for the administration of grants and subsidies to those involved in rural activities including farmers.

Land Management Adviser - Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority

  • Contract: 2 Years Fixed Term
  • Salary: £28,203 – £33,950 per annum
  • Working hours: 30 hours\ 4 days per week
  • Location: Based at National Park Headquarters, Balloch

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park Authority are looking for a Land Management & Estates Adviser who is motivated by achieving results on the ground for the rural land and property sector to work predominantly within our Land Use Team, but also our Estates Team. In this role you will develop strong relationships with managers of private and public land and property, providing practical and viable land management advice and facilitating a joined-up approach to the provision and management of commercial activities on land and water in the National Park, including recreation.

Estates Surveyor - Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park

  • Contract:2 Years Fixed Term
  • Salary: £28,203 – £33,950 per annum 
  • Working hours: Monday- Friday (37 hours per week)
  • Location: Based at National Park Headquarters, Balloch

Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park are looking for an Estates Surveyor with a background in commercial property to help manage our in-house portfolio of property assets, who will enhance rental income, work with other professionals to bring forward new commercial development, assess viability, undertake rent reviews, improve the visitor experience and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements.

Modern Apprentice - Administration Assistant - Highlands and Islands Enterprise

  • Fixed term for 18 months
  • Location: Thurso
  • Salary: £16,208 per annum, excellent benefits package

As a Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) Modern Apprentice you can earn while you learn and still gain a professional qualification by the end of the programme. 

This role provides the opportunity to gain administrative experience while undertaking workplace training in order to gain a Level 3 Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Business Administration.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent communication skills as you'll be liaising with staff across HIE.  The post holder will provide a wide range of administrative and project support to the Thurso Area Team which will include assisting with project appraisal, implementation, management and reporting, supporting procurement processes, organising meetings and events and providing secretarial support to the Area Manager.

Account Manager - Highlands and Islands Enterprise

Highlands and Islands Enterprise have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager.  In this key role you will work as part of the Inner Moray Firth team in our Inverness office, supporting a portfolio of businesses and social enterprises to help them increase their impact in the local economy.

You will bring excellent relationship building skills, a strong interest in economic development coupled with a successful track record of business development.  A good knowledge of the Inner Moray Firth business community and the sectoral opportunities present within the area is essential.
