Applications are currently being accepted for Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership programme.

This unique and challenging programme - which is delivered on behalf of Scottish Enterprise by SAC Consulting - aims to assist rural business leaders to create additional wealth through leading, team working, networking, influencing and by being ambitious.

SAC Consulting and First Eclipse Consulting are looking to recruit 45 people for 13 days of activities between late October 2015 and March 2016.

These activities include:

  • Leadership coaching workshops
  • One-to-one Business Focus Sessions
  • Team working on “Apprentice style” innovative projects
  • Effective Communications workshop to sharpen up your media skills
  • Learning journeys to Edinburgh, Brussels and London parliaments

The Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme is targeted at business leaders and key influencers from across Scottish Enterprises’ rural areas with a focus on agriculture (as key part of the food and drink supply chain), energy, tourism and the rural services sector but any rural business can apply. Applicants should be based and work in the Scottish Enterprise area (excludes Highlands and Islands).

An information evening will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 25 August at Gloagburn Farm Shop, Tibbermore, PH11QL. This is a chance to hear about the programme from facilitators and previous participants.

To apply for this year’s programme or discuss eligibility, contact Iain Riddell on 07884118208 or email iain.riddell@sac.co.uk.

Applications for the programme must be submitted by 10 September 2015.
