The European Council of Young Farmers (CEJA) and the company DeLaval are carrying out a survey on sustainable agriculture.

The survey is open to all young farmers across Europe and is available in seven languages. The survey aims to understand the needs of young farmers in order to implement a more sustainable agricultural sector and to find out how young farmers look at their future.

The collected results will be presented in a final report in September during an event in Brussels, aiming to involve European Union institutions and all major stakeholders.

Speaking on the launch, CEJA President Alan Jagoe said:

"Without the input of young farmers in their future I don’t see how policymakers can make the informed decisions we need to see at the European stage. We as CEJA are happy to partner with DeLaval to support further research into the sector."

Joakim Rosengren, President & CEO of DeLaval, said

"DeLaval is committed to support the next generation of farmers towards a more sustainable and profitable agriculture. We are very pleased to collaborate with CEJA on this survey and we look forward receiving the answers from young farmers across Europe on this important matter."
