Tesco Bags of Help open for applications

The Tesco Bags of Help Fund is now open for applications.

Community groups, schools, charities, local authorities and not for profits can all apply for grants of up to £2,000 for projects that bring benefits to communities. This includes:

• Outdoor or indoor improvements, activities and equipment purchases
• Capital and revenue funding
• Sessional workers or training, for example gardening skills, outdoor learning or health and safety
• Seasonal events or activities

For each voting round lasting three months, three community projects in each local area will be voted on by customers in Tesco stores. Following the vote, the project that receives the most votes in its area will receive a grant of up to £2,000. Second place will receive up to £1,000 and third place will receive £500.
