Your views, your Cairngorms National Park

Help shape the contents of the next Cairngorms National Park Partnership Plan.

Every five years the Cairngorms National Park Authority creates a plan that sets out the key priorities for the Cairngorms National Park. The plan covers all areas of life and work within the National Park, from conservation to land management, local communities and the economy to tourism and recreation. The next plan (starting in 2022) is currently being developed, with a period of public consultation taking place between now and the end of the year.

The Cairngorms National Park is changing. From the impact of Covid-19 to Scotland's climate change commitments, a rise in staycations to new housing projects and business ventures, the next five years will have a profound impact on those that live, visit and work in the area.

So whether you're a local resident or someone who makes their living from the land, a frequent visitor or a member of a community group, share your views and help identify the things that really matter to people who care about the Cairngorms National Park. What you say will help shape the contents of the next National Park Partnership Plan and will also help identify future consultation questions, for example where opinions differ or where more detailed discussion is needed.
