Where we live can influence and benefit our mental health and wellbeing and how we interact with and use our land use can also be a factor.  For that reason, National Rural Mental Health Forum are focusing their next session on Scottish Government’s Land Use and Agriculture Just Transition engagement programme.

Land Use and Agriculture in Scotland is changing, and the Scottish Government has published its first steps towards developing Just Transition plans for three key sectors of the Scottish economy, with discussion papers published for Built Environment and Construction, Land Use and Agriculture, and Transport.

Co-development will lie at the heart of the development of these plans; therefore, it is important that Scottish Government listen to the views of those impacted by the transition as its thinking develops, including rural and island communities and stakeholders. Your input will help shape and inform the approach to the Land Use and Agriculture Just Transition Plan due to be published at the end of 2023.

Whether you are a directly involved in Land Use and Agriculture, or simply a community member interested in making a positive impact, this is an opportunity to share your views and ideas.
