The Scottish Rural & Islands Parliament 2023 is a platform where passionate individuals, community leaders, and policymakers come together to address the pressing issues affecting rural areas and islands in Scotland. It’s an opportunity to exchange ideas, collaborate on solutions, and shape the future of our beautiful countryside. A member of the European-wide network of Rural Parliaments, the Scottish Rural Parliament takes place every two years, each time hosted by a different rural community.

Mark your calendars! The event will take place on 1 to 3 November 2023 at Nevis Centre, Fort William. We have curated an exciting program filled with engaging sessions, thought-provoking panel discussions, and inspiring keynote speeches.

Registration will be opened in August 2023, though you can Register your interest now to be the first to get free tickets to the Scottish Rural & Islands Parliament 2023. Be a part of the conversation, connect with like-minded individuals, and contribute to the development of our rural and island communities.

Secretariat and coordination will be provided by Scottish Rural Action and The Scottish Islands Federation and funding for the event is provided by the Scottish Government through its Rural Cohesion and Scottish Rural Network funding.
