Celebrating the inspirational people, projects, groups and organisations working hard to protect our environment, the Nature of Scotland Awards are now open for entries.

Brought by RSPB Scotland and co-sponsored by NatureScot, applications and nominations are being sought from business, public sector organisations, research institutions, community groups and individuals who have been active in nature conservation across Scotland. The closing date for entries is 14 June.

Now in their tenth year, categories for the awards include: Business, Coasts and Waters, Community Initiative, Food and Farming, Forest and Woodland, Innovation, Nature and Climate Action Champion, Youth and Education. This year, there's two new categories: the Health and Wellbeing Award which recognises the positive relationship between nature and wellbeing and celebrates initiatives that actively encourage people to engage with nature to support mental and/or physical health and the Nature Champion of the Decade which will open as a public vote in autumn.

Learn more about all the award categories, enter your own project or nominate your conservation heroes today on the Nature of Scotland Award webpages.
