Transnational Quirky Games, Wales and Finland

Contact Person: Louise Nicholson Email:

Summary of Project

To develop a programme of quirky games hosted by each country in turn.  Arwain have teamed up with the World Alternative Games (based in Powys), who already organise bi-annual games including bog snorkelling, man v horse, wife carrying, husband dragging etc.

There are already many similarities within the activities being staged but the collated experience of each partner can only extend knowledge and skills whilst building upon tourism initiatives and thereby the economy in each partner area. This project was initiated by Karhuseutu, Finland.
