The Scottish Government is inviting tenders for an advisory service for local food and drink marketing.

The Scottish Government requires a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to provide a marketing advisory service focussed on promoting local food and drink. The service will primarily be aimed at entrepreneurs, micro-businesses and small and medium sized enterprises with limited experience of marketing food and drink which uses Scottish produce.

The contractor should be in a position to commence service provision on 1 July 2016. It is anticipated that the contract will commence on 1 July 2016 and run for a period of two years with the Scottish Government having the option to twice extend the contract for a further year (i.e. up to a maximum of four years).

The closing date is 7 March 2016.
