Creative Lives Awards - open for entries

Creative Lives Awards - 2022 winners
Alan Robertson

Run by arts charity Creative Lives, the Creative Lives Awards celebrate the remarkable impact local volunteer-led creative groups across the UK and Ireland have on their communities.

Each week, thousands of groups provide vital opportunities for people to express their creativity, make friends, learn new skills, have fun and improve their wellbeing - and Creative Lives want to give them a well-deserved moment in the spotlight. So if your creative group has done something you’re really proud of in the past year - or you know a group that has - it’s time to enter this year’s Awards.

Creative Lives know that a huge amount of creativity takes place in rural areas, and they’d love to see entries coming from rural and island Scotland.

Creative Lives’ annual awards ceremony started life in 2010. Formerly known as the Epic Awards, this uplifting event celebrates the creative groups that enhance people’s lives in villages, towns and cities across the UK and Ireland.

Previous winners have found that being shortlisted or winning a Creative Lives Award has boosted group morale, helped with funding applications and raised their profile in local media. Representatives from this year’s winning groups will be invited to an all-expenses paid ceremony in London in September.
