The Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) - Board Members 

OSCR is Scotland’s Charity regulator and registrar for Scotland’s 25,000 charities. They are a Non Ministerial Office (NMO) part of the Scottish Administration, working alongside but separate from the Scottish Government. They believe that the Scottish public should have faith that the countries 25,000 charities are well run, and building public confidence will allow these vital organisations to thrive and cement their place at the heart of OSCR's day to day life.

The OSCR Board sets the strategic direction and ensures that activities focus on the delivery of key priorities. The Board also sets the overall vision for OSCR and works with the Chief Executive to monitor performance. 

They are looking for up to five new Board members and welcome interest from individuals who may not have had previous Board experience, but who have the potential to contribute, who wish to develop their skills in this area and are willing to learn.

South of Scotland Enterprise - Board Members

South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE) is the dedicated economic development agency, established by the Scottish Government, for the South of Scotland.  SOSE was established in direct response to the unique economic opportunities and challenges facing the South of Scotland, and is here to lead the delivery of a fresh and locally focused approach. 

Scottish Ministers are seeking to appoint up to four new members to the SOSE Board to take up the role for up to four years from 1 April 2022. 

The main duties of SOSE board members are to provide leadership, governance, direction, support and guidance, to ensure that SOSE delivers its functions effectively and efficiently and in accordance with the aims, policies and priorities of Scottish Ministers.

The Touring Network - Marketing & Membership Assistant

In this busy role, you will work closely with the Marketing & Development Manager to raise awareness of the Touring Network's activities and their members; support the Network Development Manager to ensure smooth delivery of services and respond to queries from current and potential members.

The Tourning Network are a small, friendly team who care passionately about arts and culture in rural Scotland. They encourage live performances of the highest level and support people as promoters, performers and audiences to create vibrant places to live, work and visit.

To apply for this job, you must be claiming Universal Credit and be 16-24 years old. The position is home-based with in-person team meetings at locations and times that are mutually agreeable.
