Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Countryside Trust - Trust Director

The Countryside Trust are seeking to bring on board an exceptional Trust Director who will spearhead their strategy, inspire staff and lead the Countryside Trust to reach its full potential.

The Trust Director will work with and be accountable to a skilled and active Board of Trustees, being responsible for all aspects of the strategy, planning, resourcing, operational performance, communications, and governance of the Trust.

The post holder will:

  • Provide visible, inspiring, and effective senior leadership, direction and oversight to the Trust and its staff in achieving the organisation’s vision and mission.
  • Lead the strategic direction of the organisation and ensure that the Trust delivers impactful projects and activities.
  • Ensure the sustainability of the organisation, with a focus on increasing the number and diversity of income streams and exploring potential opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance the reputation and role of the Trust, working collaboratively with partners and engaging effectively with communities.

Loch Lomond and The Trossachs Countryside Trust - Project Development Manager (Nature Restoration)

Do you have the knowledge and skills to deliver successful nature restoration projects? Does bringing together a diverse range of partners and perspectives to build strong, delivery-focused partnerships sound like a challenge you could use your talents and experience on? If so, this exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of the Countryside Trust’s emerging Nature Restoration Programme across Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park could be for you. Working in close partnership with the National Park Authority, local land managers, and a range of public, private, and voluntary sector organisations, your role will develop and deliver projects which contribute towards a thriving nature recovery network across the Park, for the benefit of both wildlife and people.

Blended home and office-based work with hot desking space at National Park Authority offices in Balloch.
