Project Manager, Crawick Multiverse, Sanquhar

Salary: £36,000

Crawick Multiverse, funded by the Duke of Buccleuch and designed by Charles Jencks, is a major land restoration and art project in Dumfries & Galloway which has utilised landscape art to transform a former open cast coal mine into a space for people to walk, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

This role will involve managing a key and exciting project in the development of a world-class & innovative science/art visitor experience and events space in the heart of Sanquhar at the currently derelict Glove Factory.

An understanding and/or experience of master-planning in a project management context will be a distinct advantage.

RPID are currently seeking applications for an Administrative Officer within the Rural Payments & Inspections Division based in Portree. This is a permanent and pensionable appointment and new entrants will normally start on the minimum of the pay range. Portree Area Office is part of a network of local offices within the Agriculture and Rural Economy Directorate of the Scottish Government. We are responsible for the administration of agricultural grant & subsidy schemes, processing casework on behalf of the Crofters Commission & management of the 7 Scottish Ministers Estates on the Isles of Skye & Raasay. This post is a key support role in the duties referred to above.
