Dumfries and Galloway LEADER Programme Support Officer (Temporary)

  • Salary: £18,696 - £20,142 per year

LEADER is seeking a confident, out-going individual to assist the LEADER Programme Manager in the delivery of the LEADER 2014-2020 Local Development Strategy and support functions of the Programme.

You will bring knowledge of working in an office environment, working to tight deadlines and processing of financial documentation. Experience of working with web-based newsletter management systems e.g. Mail Chimp and web site content maintenance would be an advantage.

You must be educated to SVQ Level 2 or equivalent.

Development Manager - Clusters - Highlands & Islands Enterprise

  • Fixed Term - two years
  • Location: Inverness, Fort William or Golspie
  • Salary: £21,290 - £23,870 per annum, excellent benefits package

Highlands & Islands Enterprise (HIE) have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager to assist in the delivery of a key European Project entitled CLUSTERS3.

You will be responsible for providing a contribution towards the delivery of the priorities within the Scotland Economic Strategy as well as ensuring that the internal Sectors, Innovation and Programme targets are delivered in line with HIE’s objectives.

You will also lead on projects with clients and partner organisations to improve the conditions of business growth across the region, representing HIE at external meetings with clients, partners and stakeholders. You will also collaborate with partner organisations to deliver key projects which make a positive difference for businesses and social enterprises wishing to operate in international markets.

You will bring excellent relationship building skills, negotiating and influencing skills and be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. Previous experience in managing EU projects is desirable but not essential.
