Outer Hebrides LEADER Development Officer

Outer Hebrides LEADER Project Support Assistant

You will provide administrative support to the Outer Hebrides LEADER and European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) Local Action Groups, the LEADER Co-ordinator and Development Officers, ensuring the effective delivery of the Outer Hebrides LEADER & EMFF Programme 2014-2020.

Duties include: establishing and maintaining robust administration and recording systems; working with complex spreadsheets and ledger systems to maintain and produce high quality financial and budgetary data; word processing, compiling and updating databases and spreadsheets; receipting, allocating and acknowledging correspondence; taking telephone calls, arranging meetings and travel bookings;  updating OH LEADER website; supporting the development of marketing material and assisting with the delivery of events and networking opportunities throughout the islands; ensuring all LEADER grant claims are produced to required high standards and timescales; liaising with internal and external contacts.

Shetland LEADER Development Officer

  • Location: Lerwick, Shetland
  • Salary: £27,174.73 - £28,313.82 per year

The LEADER Development Officer is responsible for supporting the submission and processing of eligible applications from clients seeking funding from the Shetland LEADER programme 2015 – 20. This work is needed to achieve the aims and objectives of the LEADER 2015 - 20 Business Plan for the Shetland Islands Local Action Group (LAG).S

Reporting to the Executive Manager – Economic Development (who also acts as Accountable Body Manager), the postholder will work with the LEADER Coordinator to ensure that eligible Shetland projects benefit fully from LEADER funds.

Fair Isle Development Company - Community Development Worker

Enthusiastic and committed Community Development Worker required to work with Fair Isle Development Company directors, local community and relevant stakeholders to implement the recently publicised Fair Isle Community Development Plan. This is a two-year fixed-term post, with potential for renewal, 21 hours/week, salary £16,380 per annum.

The Mountains and The People Project Training Officers x 2

  • Salary: £21,280 to £25,039 pa
  • 1 x Loch Lomond & Trossachs – 3 Year Fixed Term Contract

The Cairngorms Outdoors Access Trust (COAT) is an innovative company limited by guarantee and with charitable status, dedicated to development and delivery of outdoors access projects in the Cairngorms National Park and surrounding area.  COAT has developed an exciting new project –The Mountains and The People – with a wide partnership including Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Authority, Cairngorms National Park Authority, Scottish Natural Heritage and Forestry Commission Scotland.

This Heritage Lottery funded project aims to enhance and protect the upland environment through a programme of upland path works over five years, and to engage the people of Scotland in the delivery of this work.

These posts form a key element of the Activity Plan for The Mountains and The People project, and are responsible for developing and delivering SVQ Training Courses across both of Scotland’s National Parks.

RSABI - four part-time Development Officers

  • Salary: £24,000 pro rata
  • Part-time - three days per week

Following a reorganisation within their Development team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for four new dedicated part-time (three-days per week) Regional Development Officers to cover all areas of Scotland for RSABI, Scotland’s charity helping people who have depended on the land.

These dedicated roles will help deliver RSABI’s priorities by:

  • increasing regular income from the Supporter Scheme to achieve long term growth and sustainability for the charity

  • increasing profile and awareness by organising regional events, facilitating fundraising and building close relationships with key stakeholders, influencers and volunteers

North East Arts Touring and Aberdeen International Youth Festival - Project Coordinator, Young Promoters Scheme

North East Arts Touring and Aberdeen International Youth Festival, in partnership with Youth Arts Collective North East, is looking to recruit a Part-time, Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of an exciting and collaborative Young Promoters Scheme in the North East.

This new scheme is designed to support young people (14 – 26) interested in programming and promoting events across the area. They are looking for a well organised, creative and inspiring individual with a passion for supporting young people to get more involved in creative and cultural activity across a range of art forms.

Mobile Digital Champion - Citizens Online

Digital Resilience is a new approach developed by Citizens Online to help partnerships of local public service providers join up digital skills activity and share resources with the aim of developing a sustainable ‘digital ecosystem’ to support the uptake of digital skills and services.

The post-holder will support this work by working across the Highland Council region to understand and track ICT courses and access points that are available, to test basic digital skills and offer on the spot coaching help with basic ICT.
