Survey into EV charging

On behalf of Transport Scotland, Energy Saving Trust are conducting a research project exploring the viability of using independent petrol forecourts as sites for EV charging infrastructure in rural areas.

The Energy Saving Trust is an independent organisation, working to address the climate emergency who support work towards a smart, decarbonised, decentralised energy system.

As part of this research, they are distributing a survey aimed at householders in rural areas within Scotland to gain some opinions over whether this is a good idea for their town.

Topics covered will include whether or not housholders have an EV, existing public charging infrastructure in rural towns, peoples charging preferences and if people know of independent forecourts in their area.

The survey will close at 6pm on Fri 14th December.
