In our short video, Michael Halliday shares his experiences of the Rural Leadership Programme and travelling abroad to learn about farming in other countries.

Michael used to be a dairy farmer and is now an agricultural consultant. In the video, he tells us about the benefits of taking part in the Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership Programme.

Michael then received support from the Royal Highland and Agricultural Society Scotland (RHASS) to go to the Royal Agriculture Society of the Commonwealth conference in Brisbane, and a further trip as part of a New Generation group to learn about farming in Papua New Guinea.
