Moray's Climate Change Conference

Moray's Climate Action Network - Moray CAN - is delighted to be hosting its first conference event.

The day is designed so that participants will be able to learn more about what measures are currently being taken to mitigate climate change in Moray, and what can be done to ensure further action is prioritised.

Key note speakers and workshop presentations, will share knowledge on areas including future decarbonisation, reducing emissions, nature restoration and educational outreach.

Small Space Growing

TTF's Green Shoots project's eighth monthly community workshop is a hands-on opportunity for us to gather to learn and share tips all about growing food in small spaces. It's amazing what can be got out of a square metre bed, up a fence or even on windowsill. Suitable for seasoned gardeners or those just starting out.

Farm Retail Masterclass - Scotland's Agritourism Monitor Farms Programme

Starting at Macbeth’s Butchers which is a family run business that provides high quality meat products throughout the UK.

In the main, the beef is provided from their own farm, Edinvale, in upland Moray where they rear traditional Scottish native breeds. These are reared in as an extensive, natural environment as possible being fed grass, home grown hay or silage and no growth promoters. Macbeth's also supply a full range of pork and lamb from local farms with a similar philosophy. Macbeth's venison and game is also sourced locally.

They aim to create new community and virtual spaces that welcome everyone to live more mentally healthy lives, as well as support existing ones to connect and grow, reaching out across Moray to diverse communities and groups.
