Small businesses face huge hikes in their electricity bills and an increase in the cost of resources and commodities, driven by the spike in energy prices.

With soaring gas and oil prices we have seen Ofgem raise the price cap on electricity bills by 54% in April 2022. It is due to rise again by up to 40% in October.

How will your business be affected and what measures can you implement to save money before the winter fuel price increases?

During this learning session we'll hear from GrowBiz Enterprise Facilitator, Jane Wilkinson who was formerly a climate change training officer for Forward Coupar Angus Development Trust. She'll share with us some great examples of what you can do and how going green can help you cut your business costs.

She'll cover some of the misconceptions about ways of lowering your energy bill and by the end of this session you'll come away with practical AND cost effective ways of reducing your electricity bills.

GrowBiz provide enterprise support to businesses, enterprises and the self-employed in rural Scotland (i.e. out with cities)- please only a book a place if you are based in rural Scotland.

This event will take place on zoom, it will not be recorded.
