Plunkett is delighted to invite you to our next online networking event for Scottish community pub groups. This evening’s free get-together is open to all community groups involved in a community-owned pub project in Scotland, whether you are at the ideas stage or are already open and trading.

At the start of the event, we will discuss how to handle differences of opinion that might arise between committee members, shareholders, and pub managers. We'll be drawing on the experience of Plunkett Community Business Manager and adviser Alison Macklin, who'll be guiding you through some principles to follow when there are differences of opinion. We will also be discussing good practices in governance to avoid some of the issues before they happen.

There will be an opportunity to ask Alison questions followed by time to share ideas, experiences, practices, and learnings and offer each other support. Members of the Plunkett UK team will also be on hand to help answer questions.

This informal and friendly event is run in partnership with the Scottish Rural Network, Community Shares Scotland, and Co-operative Development Scotland.
