Blackwood Estate Community Association is a Scottish charity working to protect and improve their local environment for the betterment of the local community.
The Association was awarded £4,988 of Community led Local Development (CLLD) funding to install a new accessible outdoor learning area and pathways into Loch Wood. This improved access has helped local schools to undertake supervised pupil visits, were the children get the opportunity to learn about and experience nature.
The CLLD funding enable the group to successfully secure match funding from a local wind-farm.
