Tarland Development Group received £100,000 in Community Led Local Development (CLLD) funding to build mountain bike trails and shared use paths to attract visitors to their area, driving spending with local businesses and services, contributing to community wealth building.

CLLD funding is a Scottish Government fund. This particular project was supported by Inspiring Scotland however, funding is now solely delivered through a network of 20 Local Action Groups (LAG) across rural and island Scotland.
