A new £25 million fund to provide affordable housing in rural areas has been launched by the Scottish Government.
The Rural Housing Fund will provide an estimated 500 new affordable homes in rural Scotland over the next three years by helping with the building of new homes and the refurbishment of existing buildings.

Environment Minister Aileen McLeod has announced an increase in the level of grant support available through the Croft House Grant Scheme.

Changes to the Scottish Government's Croft House Grant Scheme are being considered following a public consultation.
The Croft House Grant Scheme (CHGS) provides up to £1.4 million in grants each year towards the cost of building or improving homes with the aim of attracting and retaining people in the crofting areas of Scotland.
