Good community engagement is about more than simply asking people what they think. It means creating meaningful opportunities for people to take part, making it easier for a wider range of voices to be heard, and gathering information that can genuinely help shape your work.
This introductory session will explore the basics of community engagement, from thinking about who you want to involve and what you want to find out, to choosing suitable engagement methods and making sense of what people tell you.
