Join Members of the Scottish Parliament (MSPs) online to celebrate the collective achievements and look ahead to the next Parliamentary term.

The Cross Party Group on Islands in the Scottish Parliament (CPG Islands) provides a forum for the discussion of issues relevant to Scotland’s islands and the residents of island communities, and it aims to improve links between the Scottish Parliament and island communities.

Since the beginning of the 6th Parliamentary Session, the CPG Islands has grown to over 300 members representing 40 Scottish islands, as well as many mainland and international people and organisations. It has explored a range of important topics, held meetings with Cabinet Secretaries, fed into policy and shone a light on the expertise and creativity of island communities and businesses.

This final meeting before elections is an opportunity for members, and anyone interested in the CPG Islands, to celebrate our collective achievements and look ahead to the next five years.

Anyone with an interest in Scotland’s islands is warmly invited to register.

Secretariat for the CPG is currently provided by Scottish Rural Action and the Scottish Islands Federation. If you have any questions about registering for this event, please contact Artemis, artemis@sra.scot.
